Terms of service
Last updated 25 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Hidit Hotta, trading as Nemesine Enterprises (“we”, “us”), who run Bark & Bill. By creating an account you agree to them. Bark & Bill is a tool for businesses, so you confirm you're using it for your dog walking or pet care business.
The service
Bark & Bill helps you price and send quotes, keep a walk calendar, send invoices and take card payments from your clients. We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features over time; if we remove something significant you rely on, we'll give you reasonable notice.
Free trial and subscription
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial. No card is needed to start.
- After the trial, Bark & Bill costs £15 a month, billed in advance through Stripe. We'll tell you at least 30 days before any price change.
- Founding members, the first 20 walkers to subscribe, pay £10 a month instead. That price is fixed for the life of the account and isn't affected by future price changes, including if you cancel and later subscribe again.
- If another walker invites you with their link, your first paid month is free. Once you've made your first payment, the walker who invited you gets one month free, as a credit on their next bill. Free months have no cash value.
- You can cancel any time from Plan & billing. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund part-months.
- If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. If it still can't be collected, your account is paused until the subscription is paid. Your data isn't deleted.
Taking payments from your clients
Card payments from your clients are processed by Stripe and paid to your own Stripe account. To accept them you must agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which governs those payments. Stripe's processing fees are deducted by Stripe. We are not a party to your contract with your clients and don't hold your money.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your login details secure, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- Make sure the prices, quotes and invoices you send are correct. You're responsible for the services you provide, your own insurance, and your tax affairs.
- You're the controller of your clients' personal data. Only add data you're allowed to hold, and tell your clients how you use it. We process it for you as described in our privacy policy, which forms our data processing terms with you.
- Don't use Bark & Bill for anything unlawful, to send spam, or in a way that harms the service or other users.
Your data
Your records belong to you. You can export your invoices at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we're not liable for loss of profits, business or data, or for indirect losses, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Bark & Bill and delete your account at any time. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If we change these terms we'll email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Questions? Email [contact email: set NEXT_PUBLIC_CONTACT_EMAIL].
